Is Windows and Microsoft the same company ?

Microsoft Windows u can tell by just the name whats the product and whats the company's name no big deal Microsoft is a Corp. that develops an operating system called windows its also their first and only current operating system for what i know since they started with Windows 3.1 till their Windows Vista and 7 i still think its unreliable
