What to do for my boyfriend instead of sadies?

Ohkaye so my school is doing sadies , but my boyfriend Nick & I don't really want to go. I don't have money for the tickets and matching clothes anyways /: we want to hang out that day still , but I want to do something sweet for him like to go out somewhere . Maybe take him to the movies and I'll pay ? Since sadies is like Dutch style I want to do it that way too ;D any ideas on what to do instead of sadies ? Best gets 10 ! (:
