Buddism geographic areas?
Buddhism started in northern india and spread out to the countries of south east Asia Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet as well as the Far east adapting their teachings to the needs of the pupils that joined them and it wasnt untill the nineteenth century that the western scholars began to show an interest in the scriptures of the buddhist and then not untill the later half of the twentieth century that westerners saw Buddhism as a religion before taking off the world over which is where it remains today known as the religion of inner peace and happiness and accessible to people of every cl world wide it is often said to be the worlds religion because there are no restrictions or conditions to meet to become a Buddhist.
